8th Jan 2009, this day is to be remembered very well in history of our group, as Thuraya (Satellite Telecom) company have gifted us very valuable tool 16"Mead lx400 telescope,
Mr. Ali Saeed Al Mazrooei – Chief Technology Officer over whelmed us with his generosity and support, our hearty thanks to him and Thuraya for this precious contribution.
The Telescope will be named after the company THURAYA, as well the observatory, as gratitude sing from DAG, the scope will be installed temporarily in our facility at New World Pvt School, later to be shifted to our remote observatory, inauguration and observation plan will be announced soon.
Spceial thanks extend to our treasurer Mr. Ahmad Mohd Al Madani who has facilitated this valuable process.
