Here is my crude attempt to photograph the comet with a digital camera on a tripod,
the exposure time was set to 15 seconds, the longest permitted by the camera.
Here is a chart from Google Sky for comparison:

Dear Jeff,
Thanks for valued information on comet holmes, I went to desert to observe it, I saw it with naked eye, it was very faint, very important notice that is very difficult to observe with telescope due to it’s faint glow, just barely you can see it as fussy ball.
