hello .. pls guide..how to go about?

Salaams all,

I have just now become a "General member" of DAG.I am 10 only years old but want to learn about amateur astronomy and observing techniques.

1.Which training course would be ideal for me from DAG and same time not too costly ?

2.Any one pls share your experience with the trainings you had from DAG

3. As a "General member" will I be a offered workshops and training sessions on observing, telescope making,outdoor visits etc. ?

4.Will I get any introductory/regular emails from the DAG as I have become an initial member of it ?

Dear Fatima,

Sorry for delay in reply, as we were very buy at summer activities, thanks for your interest in Astronomy and DAG,

As member of DAG you are entitled for many privileges and discounts on all our activities and courses, we recommend for you as beginner “Basic Astronomy” course it cost 100/= only with certificate and trip to our desert camp.

I would recommend to contact Ankit as he is the most attending member for our activities, we had very good free observation and planetarium show activities at children city on 22 to 27 of July, we announced it with mailing list we hop you have received our mail, we have many free activities for our members exclusively, we will update you with mail.
